stripes!

remember this tablecloth?

i don't know how old it is because i've had it pinned for forever, but it's still available at anthro. you can buy yours here if you feel like dropping $250 on a tablecloth.

i had this pinned in my 'someday i wanna make this' board.
i just didn't ever get around to it and i figured somebody would pave the way and i could just follow their lead.

i was right.
oh happy day did it!!

you can find her 'how-to' right here.

and it's more neon.
who's a fan?
ME.

i have to say, hers is a little neater than the original.
i like the painted on quality of the anthro one.
so be messy :)

she's just the craftiest over there, at oh happy day.
her stuff always comes out spot on.

she has the original tablecloth as well,
and threw the most awesome donut party centered around it.
you can check that out here.
donut. party.

happy wednesday.

beautiful stuff galore.

the kings of stuff.
tony duquette and his friend, business partner, and protege, hutton wilkinson.

after the duquettes passed, wilkinson bought his california estate and keeps it up in true tony duquette fashion. he even throws tony-esque dinner parties:

the beautiful objects and fine china and gold and colorful goblets and patterned textiles and silver. i only wish i had a supply of dinner party details like they did/do.

that terrace with the oriental umbrellas and malachite table cloths would be where i'd eat every. single. meal. with lots and lots of friends. everyday.

love it.

i actually love stuff.
have i said that before? i sound like a broken record. i don't really fall under that 'minimalist' catagory :)

loving the round table

i dream of the day when my entry is larger than a 4 foot by 7 foot little teeeeeny tiny space that holds more than 2 people at a time. when that day comes i have plans to plant a round beautiful mahogany pedestal table right in the middle!!

an inspiring table

check out this gorgeous tablescape by elements of style blogger, erin gates.

she decided to have her theme be her style icons (Kelly Wearstler, Gwyneth Paltrow, Diane Von Furstenberg and Martha Stewart)

see more details here.

she was asked to design it for an event for Boston’s famed jeweler shreve, crump and low called festive tables
