a day in buenos aires...

i decided i better start sharing some of our photos from our trip to argentina in december because if i don't do it soon i might forget. here are a few to get started.

this is glamorous

we get back just in time to celebrate christmas with our family. what a wonderful end to an amazing vacation! it is always fun to experience a new place and have some adventure together along the way...although it doesn't always seem fun at the time. things went smoothly with just a few hiccups. argentina is a beautiful country and we got just a big enough taste to want to come back for the rest. maybe we can convince a few others to join next round...

after 3 plane rides in the past 15 hours (mendoza-santiago-dallas-kc) what i really need is a good soak in one of these...no time for that. off to do the last of the shopping.

trying not to forget

more exploring today before heading south to patagonia for some relaxing, hiking, biking and more exploring!! i think my favorite part of buenos aires has been the beautiful balconies that keep you intrigued as you walk down the street. i can't stop peering up at the gorgeous architecture and curiously wondering what are behind those french doors...i have taken plenty of pics to share with you!!!

but for now i am trying to remind myself not to get too comfortable with this 80 degree weather...a harsh reality awaits at home.
