fashion's night out

the fashion festivities have begun! last night was the kick off at lincoln center with the first fashion night out: the show...the largest-ever public fashion show in the city. with seating for 1500 set up outside around the center fountain at lincoln center, everyone had a good seat to view the hottest fall fashions from a wide variety of designers

looks were themed from fifties flair to jazz-age glamour, tartan twist and haute bohemian to rock chic, with models wearing a mix of designers all at once...

appearances by alessandra ambrosio, gisele bundchen, naomi campbell, lily donaldson, karolina kurkova, adriana lima, angela lindvall, sasha pivovarova and coco rocha and with a closing musical performance by pharrell williams made the evening feel special.

and sitting just a few rows from anna wintour, blake lively, alexandra kotur, jason wu, vera wang, michael kors, and diane von furstenberg, to name a few

was just what i needed to remind myself why i live here after falling in love with the beautiful scenery and simple life on whidbey island
