it's the weekend!!!

almost. but i've already mentally checked out. (is that bad to say?)

headed to the lake this weekend. i plan on (safely--with sunscreen) getting some color on my bod, drinking a few fruity concoctions, and soaking up the all around summery goodness.

i work across the street from an elementary school and yesterday was the last day. the air was filled with little voices rejoicing. it reminded me of how being 'grown up' sure takes away alot of that feeling of being free and the thought of endless summer possibilities that came with the last day of school. i could go back to that. at least for the next 3 days.
